The largest in Europe and the first butterfly park in Turkey!

Located in the city of Konya. 

Opened in 2015. Has an area of 7200 m2! Divided into two areas: a garden where butterflies fly freely and a museum of butterflies and insects.

The garden was built in the shape of a butterfly and has 1730 windows.  During the construction it was provided that in the glass was used a special material that allows not to pass harmful ultraviolet rays and enrich the sunlight of the whole room, as in a natural environment!

The air temperature is always +28 and humidity is 80%!

Visiting the park, you will be able to see different species of butterflies and other insects, plants that you do not encounter in normal life. There are 60 species of different butterflies in the Garden, which are brought to the park in the state of pupa in special boxes, from countries such as: Malaysia, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Kenya, Philippines, Singapore, Colombia, Panama. 

There are also 195 species of different plants in the park. Preference is given to such plants that produce more oxygen. Plants are grown in Turkey, and some are found only in the park, such as the Baobab tree (which grows only in Australia and Africa).

You will get to know insects such as: Mantis, ghost insect (phasmid), Rhinoceros beetle, deer beetle, fireflies, dragonflies, ornamental beetles and various spiders.

In the museum you will see: butterflies and insects, their life cycle and species, watch a small movie about insects in the Movie Theater
