Welcome to the Olive Oil Museum and Wine Cellar! Turkey has a large number of olive trees and they are an important part of the country's culture and economy! In the Museum you will see how olive oil is made, from the olive harvest to the olive itself. You can also see the different structures that are involved in oil production from ancient times to the present day. You will learn about the history of olive oil, its benefits and uses in food and cosmetics. There are olives which are more than 300 years old! You will also find a Wine Cellar which will tell you about Turkish wines. Turkey is famous for its wine, especially fruit wines. We have grapes, pomegranate, melon, tangerine, blackberry, peach, and banana in the cellar! You will be able to taste and buy these delicious and interesting wines!
